Is the America's food supply safe?
According to the article," is the America's food supply safe" written by Dr. David Acheson; the assistant commissioner for food protection and drug administration. David Acheson has stated that the F.D.A has done everything to keep the America's food safe, by closely monitoring the food processing and other aspects concerning food. put all resources available; inspections, prevent contaminations, by hired investigators whom working hard to protect the incoming food from all over the world. although all the efforts have been done to protect the food, Is the food still safe?

The government should put in place more measures to keep the food safe for example; watch closely every single food come in from everywhere, have control of the port entries, every single way people used to transport or travel. I have no doubt the F.D.A has done a lot but I don't think they have done enough.
From what I have seen and heard so far I don't think the America's food is safe. Either in the restaurants, the markets, or the food pantries. They have a lot to do, warning people about the danger in foods, make it affordable for people to buy good and healthy foods instead of cheap and fast food. Encourage people to cook and eat at home, ask them to check on the label, for expiration's date etc... food poisoning has killed thousand and thousands people already in the USA and the F.D.A kept argue the food is safe in the USA. Yes, I think the food is safe but not safe enough there is more to be done by the food administration.
